Easter gift idea for the sugar addict

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone has/had a fantastic day full of food, fun, festivities, family…and chocolate of course

This year Gerard and I received an Easter gift that I just had to blog about!

We got home yesterday afternoon to discover a package on our doorstep…

Delivery on the doorstep…

Filled with anticipation, we brought it inside, carefully opening its lid to discover… THE GREATEST THING EVER.

Easter dessert box!

6 mouthwatering hot cross buns – with the flavours (clockwise from top right) being donut, Cadbury Creme Egg, Nutella, peanut butter and jelly, fairy bread, and Milo! Each bun was stuffed with chocolate filling and topped with more deliciousness, with other choccies scattered throughout the box.

And believe me, it certainly tastes as good as it looks!

There was also a Happy Easter note inside from my sister-in-law and her fiancé – so I immediately sent a delighted thank you message their way.

But where did this wonderful creation come from?

It turns out that this box came from Dessert Boxes – creations by Kayter co, a Sydney based dessert catering company who also brought us Golden Gaytime burgers and transformed the way we enjoy dessert coconuts.

But these dessert boxes definitely don’t just have to be for Easter.

Got a friend/relative who loves desserts or anything sugary? This is a creative and unique gift idea that is sure to keep them happy, for as long as it lasts…

There’s donuts, cronuts, and every assortment of topping you could want.

Feast your eyes on some of these deliciously delectable arrangements…

Where would you even begin? Cronut love! #dessertboxes#cronuts#doughnuts#donuts

Would it be weird if I ordered a box or two of these goodies for myself?

Just kidding, I have enough Easter chocolate to last for many months ahead. But this is a gift idea for my sugar-loving friends that I’ll definitely be keeping in mind.

Anyway, I already feel myself slipping off into a food coma from feasting on one or more of these temptations… Be back later!

  1. You have no idea how much I wish this delivery would have been made to my house! That looks amazing, as do the others you show. I feel a sugar coma coming on just from reading! Thanks for sharing!

  2. This is the coolest thing! My teen is in love with all food, but most especially sugary treats like these – I’ll have to look and see if there’s a company like this in the US. It would make an awesome birthday surprise for her!

  3. What a thoughtful gift for people who love sweets! I really like the variation. I’d sure send some of these to friends when there’s a special occasion!
